May was the last month of spring, a month with many celebrations and wonderful activities. We made a our weekly alphabet crafts. The shape that we focused on this month was triangle. We made a mouse from triangles and circles for the shape activity! Students were so happy to see the mouse they built!
We learned how to count from 1 to 2 and how to use playdoh to make the numbers. Playdoh tracing is a good activity for motor skills practice! For the alphabet review, we played a fishing game with the upper case and lower case letters. The students had a lot of fun trying to find the correct letter and catch it!
The students also learned about the weather and the clothes that we wear for each weather. They worked together to dress the paper doll!
Finally, for our fun theme activities we had an obstacle race game trying to find the correct weather card. Students enjoyed going through the tunnel and jumping on the mats!
